Dental Dams! Damn!

Oral sex. Ah. As much as people taboo it, I'm sure we all enjoy it when someone goes down between our legs.

Oral sex is also one of the most common mode for transferring STI's and STD's.

So what can we do about this? 

So here comes the solution . Dental dams. 

Dental dams are basically a thin sheet which can be used between the mouth and the vagina/anus. 

Initially it was used as a barrier between the teeth during a dental procedure. Now it's been remodeled for safer oral sex 

It protects both parties from contracting any infection as oral infections can also be transferred to genitals and vice versa.
And I know I know it's not easy to get the required materials from chemists, so what we can do here is that, we can find alternates which can serve as immediate good barriers. 

However if you do go to a chemist, look up for latex dental dam, or any other material if you are allergic .

Incase of emergencies (though I don't know if you guys can stomach it) you can also use your kitchen plastic wrap. However ensure that it is clean and sterile. 

Rubber gloves and condoms can also be converted into dental dams. 

I understand how stopping mid sex to check on making dental dams can kinda be a little unsexy, however it's to do with the fact that it hasn't been normalised in the society. 

So next time you go down on someone, and someone goes down on you, try a dental dam.

People with different blood types have proteins specific to that blood type on the surfaces of their red blood cells (RBCs). There are four blood types — A, B, AB, and O.
